Call us first

If you're dealing with a dental emergency, call us straight away. With three dentists on staff, we have more flexibility to accommodate urgent appointments — we'll do everything we can to see you the same day.

Don't wait and hope it gets better. Dental problems — especially infections and trauma — can worsen quickly. Early treatment is nearly always simpler, less expensive, and less stressful than waiting.

Common dental emergencies we treat

Toothache and dental pain

Persistent tooth pain is your mouth's way of telling you something needs attention. We'll assess the cause and provide prompt treatment to relieve your discomfort.

Chipped or broken teeth

Whether from a fall, an accident, or biting something hard, a chipped or broken tooth can often be repaired quickly with bonding or a crown, depending on the extent of the damage.

Lost fillings or crowns

A lost filling or crown can leave a tooth sensitive and vulnerable. Contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the situation and arrange a replacement.

Dental infections and abscesses

Swelling, throbbing pain, or a bad taste in your mouth can be signs of a dental infection. This requires prompt attention — please call us immediately rather than waiting.

Dental trauma

If a tooth has been knocked loose or displaced during an accident or sport, time matters. Call us right away for guidance on what to do before you arrive.

Soft tissue injuries

Cuts or lacerations to the gums, lips, or cheeks following a dental injury can be assessed and managed at our practice where appropriate.

Why three dentists makes a difference

Having three dentists at our practice means we have more capacity to fit urgent cases in on short notice. You won't be put on a waiting list for weeks — we understand that dental emergencies need prompt attention.

Our evening appointments also help — if you're dealing with an issue that develops during the day, you may be able to see us the same evening without disrupting your work schedule.

What to do in a dental emergency

  • Call us immediately — do not wait to see if it improves
  • For a knocked-out tooth: keep it moist (in milk or saliva) and call right away
  • Take over-the-counter pain relief if needed while you wait
  • Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum — this can cause tissue damage
